However, there are still many crusaders and many arguments on the other side as well.
The primary argument against alternative medicine treatments is the fact that none of the theories has been or can be proved. The effectiveness of the treatments is inconsistent and some scientists fear that because alternative treatments are not subject to being tested for side effects, they may have rather harmful ones.
